Join Alex Alligator & Friends as they whizz their way to visit Alex's Grandma in America using Alex's magic map. This is the first story book in the Alex Alligator & friends series and sets the scene for Alex starting at his new school and making new friends.
In each story Alex Alligator & Friends travel across continents with Alex's magic map to visit friends and family, learning about different countries, hobbies, animals, habitats and friendship.
Each story encourages young minds to welcome friendships from around the world and to respect and appreciate our differences.
Helping children develop socially and emotionally as they begin to understand more about the world around them.
This charming children's story is creatively written by author, Sarah Moller, and beautifully illustrated by Jo de Ruiter.
Alex Alligator & Friends storybook is written with Phonics in mind to help early readers take their first finger-pointing steps through each word of the adventure.
The story series is based on Sarah Moller's experience as a young child, moving from South Africa to England and starting at a new school. Sarah found it difficult to describe what South Africa was like to her new classmates. This is why Alex Alligator has a magic map. If Sarah had a magic map, like Alex, she could have taken her new friends to see the beauty of South Africa and meet her friends and family.
Sarah hopes the story of Alex Alligator & Friends encourages children to welcome one another and enjoy learning about our world and how to take care of it.
